QCS Hub was created out of necessity. The idea began in the warehouse of a subcontract manufacturing company, supplying leading motorsport and F1 teams with various components. As the operation grew, so did the mountains of paperwork, folders and spreadsheets. It was difficult to keep track of everything and this caused recurring errors due to the lack of communication, forgotten conversations and lost sheets of paper. We had to find a better way to operate.
We looked for a commercially available QMS solution to help bring our processes up to speed. But we couldn’t find one that was complete and robust enough to work for aerospace and flexible enough for the fast-paced F1 sector. They all lacked necessary features, so that’s when we decided to build our own system – cue QCS Techniques.
After seeing its success, we shared the system with other small manufacturers and developed it further. Once our customers experienced a dramatic drop in issues, an increase in on-time delivery and a decrease in response times, we received requests to introduce the software to other companies from the supply chain.
